About us
Founded in 1945, the Laguna Beach Democratic Club (LBDC) was Orange County's first Democratic club, built by locals committed to progressive causes and the Democratic Party agenda. For 80 years, we've helped elect Democrats from City Council to the White House through campaigning, fundraising, activism, and voter registration.
Like our founders, we believe inclusivity, a fair living wage, healthcare, diversity, and a good education are the foundation of a prosperous future for all. And we believe the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the balance of power are what keep our government strong. We intend to keep it that way.
